Hi all
I’m here to learn and I have decided to build the best possible sound system for less money than the too expensive stuff in the shops😊

Welcome tô AC :thumb:
I can help you with speakers, what do you have now?
Your best option are full range driver crossoverless as Lii Áudio F15.
Iam on the phone, later I will inform you better.

Hi,
Less money means less parts and no enclosure.
You can fit these requirements with a FR driver OB crossoverless as the Lii Audio F15 $399/pair or F18 $520/pair for more bass.

Here Decware OB with the Lii Audio F15 driver:
[/b]
If one have a woodworker is possible try the Lii Audio F15($399/Pair, pair not each) 97dB/8Ω and benign impedance curve suited to OB or Bass Reflex box or the F18($540/pair), no Crossover, no Tweeter beaming, no Phase rotation, no driver sensitivity loss, no Harmonics loss, no Retail price.

If you want a bigger woofer there are 18'' and 21'' from Lii Audio:

This is a inexpensive DIY project from a AC member, it have only four(4) parts: Eminence Alpha15A + 4.7mH + Visaton B200 and a MDF baffle.

Thanks all
OB is the way for me. I’ll start with subwoofers.

Welcome!

Suggest looking into active monitors (what the studio professionals use).  Best loudspeakers I've ever owned were $4000/pair JBL 708P, but the 305 Mk2 only cost ~$300/pair and can fill a room with good sound from desktop sized cabinets.  Kali is another good option (former JBL designers).  Open baffles tend to smear the sound image and lack deep bass.

With actives, no power amplifier or speaker cables are needed.  The manufacturer picks the best amp for the job which mates perfectly with the drivers.  The active crossover can be very sophisticated and include DAC and/or room correction.

I heared GR Research Triple Trouble and that was amazing. I think I’ll go that way.
