I remember looking at these speakers back in the 70s.  I was an audio newby and they were prominently displayed, they were big, it said Pioneer on the label, they must be great.  The totally chill salesman said, you like these?   Then he played some Polk SDA speakers and the Pioneers faded into the background.  Great job fixing the speaker, but how do they sound?

We played one of them in the shop while the new network was still on it, and it sounded surprisingly good.
