Rhytmic plate amp buzz

I am asking this question here because many open baffle subwoofer uses a rhytmic plate amp . I have a plateamp H600PEQ3 which start buzzing as soon as i plug it in . It does not have to be turned on and if i do turn on it stays the same . The drivers are silent . The buzz comes from "behind " the heatsink . The sub otherwise works fine but on quiet segments the buzz is noticable . I have an exact same second sub and using the same power cord and outlet its dead quiet .What are the possible causes ? Loose transformer , bad capacitor etc?
