Just rented Oceans 12 this week.  What a BIG disappointment that was.  I mean, I had heard it was bad, but I didn't expect that much turdage.  

I'm not sure what happened - the star power was there, but it was as if no one even cared if the movie was any good or not.

I'm not talking the typical 'The sequel didn't match up to the original'.  Oh no.  That would be putting it lightly.  If the original movie (Oceans 11 with the same cast, not the Sinatra version) was an 8/10 then O-12 was 2/10, and that's generous only because of the cast.

While I agree that the movie basically fell flat - (I think they totally forgot that the fun of the first movie was insight into how the scam was pulled, before, during and after) - I have to say that it was still kind of fun in the sense that they had some big name stars having laughs at themselves.

Watching Clooney be shocked to think that people think he is a certain age made me laugh out loud.

Not enough of a laugh to make up for the rest of the movie basically belly-flopping, but certainly a few moments of mirth.

Avoid this POS like the plague.  No warnings can prepare one for how truly awful this movie is.  I really regret not walking out of the theater.  I just kept thinking it had to get better.  It didn't.

I just saw it last night. . .I enjoyed it.  I think it's worth renting.  Definitely nowhere NEAR the 1st one though.  

Don't take me wrong, it wasn't the greatest movie. . .

I watched it on a flight to Australia and if it wasn't for the fact that I had nothing better to do, I would have shut if off and done something else.

I think your time could be spent in a million better ways than watching this movie.
