Newbie here and i am looking to see other peoples ideas on paint and finishes to their NX Tremes as i prepare myself for acquiring my own pair in the near future.
If all you NX Treme owners out there can please share photos of your own so I can get some different ideas for my own that would be much appreciated!

Hey Nicko,
If you intend to paint your speakers yourself in quality automotive paint, hit me up and I'll walk you through the process. Speakers that big you'll need to really sort out your materials and environment but it can totally be done. Or you can just enlist the help of a local body shop to make em fancy. I'm interested to see what you come up with.

I have Oticas not Not NX-Treme, but they're close enough.

This is white duratex sanded down to remove most of the texture, but not all, then painted over with a satin white spray paint finish. I did the sides in a cherry veneer finished with tung oil.

The white almost has a leather look to it.  Did you do the painting and veneering before you put it together?

No assembled the bare cabinet, painted it, then applied the veneer.
