I’m Duane and my user name is “MisterD”. I’m into RECORDS and related gear, which I’ve been picking up since late 1960’s - and I never really stopped. I do like swapping gear in and out and enjoy fixing and modifying interesting, older audio gear… Think my turntable count is somewhere around 15 right now..
Belt, DD or idler tables are all cool - you probably won’t find me arguing about “best type”.

This was Sony’s flagship table in ‘71 and their very first consumer DD. It’s super quiet running with great wow & flutter specs. Arm is an Audiomods Series Six, holding a Grado Opus3.
While I do like good solid state, I prefer tube amps.
Though I’ve been tinkering for years - I’m still learning and hope to be for a little while longer..
