Odyssey Kismets in Khartago cases

Having sold my Salk HT2-TLs, I’m now selling the amps that powered them, my Odyssey Kismet/Khartago mono blocks, with Klaus’ upgrades. These are like new and were used to power the Salks. Great amps with authoritative bass and sweet tube-like mids they combine the warmth and three-dimensionality of tubes with the speed and control of solid state. Operationally and functionally perfect. No blemishes. No noise or hum even with very sensitive speakers. I had to trade my larger man-cave listening for a smaller near field office set-up, thus the sale. I am the first owner. These have been VERY gently used by mature adults in a smoke free, kid free household. They run only slightly warm for a class A/AB amp, no noise or hum even with very sensitive speakers. These are 9 years old and are still under (transferable) warranty. I have the original boxes. Many great reviews online.

Klaus’ Upgrades include:

1. Full power supply and caps upgrade from Khartago to Kismit
2. 240,000 uF (this is double the original 120,000 uF in the standard Khartago)
3. Upgraded Kismit torodial power supply
4. Full SE+ board & cable upgrades
5. Copper chassis
6. 180 watts per channel plus

Each box weighs 31 lbs.
Still under warranty

Asking $1900 shipped. Buyer pays PayPal fees

Hi Ronnie,
I believe they were $4800 before upgrades. I’ll check.
Cheers,
