For Sale: VMPS 626R's

Includes:

FST Tweeter
MLS African Ebony Cabinets
New MegaWoofers
Auricap Cap Upgrade
SoundCoat

Original Retail List was $3288

Offered at $2199 plus shipping.

I have heard hundreds of speakers, in various systems and rooms, and "nothing" I have heard can surpass these at normal listening levels, as a complete and overall performer.

Imaging, Soundstage, and Resolving ability are next to none!!

Set up properly, and mated with a VMPS sub (or 4   ) you could spend upwards of 5 figures on speakers, and not surpass this sound. 8)

Yeah,  I have to get either the RM30s or RM40s in here again.

Just got my new Bryston BP26DA, and if whoever gets these, "feeds them" the same "diet de electron", they are going to absolutley FREAK!

I mean they may have to "order in" so that the food is delivered to their listening chair, cause they are not gonna want to leave.

Just switched out the digital cable to the AudioQuest Eagle Eye, and can only say that this Sound is SICK!!!! it is so good.

While I know it is my responsibility to dial my next pair in, the "heat is on" Big B, to build me a pair of RM30's or 40's, that will eventually (once broken in and dialed in) surpass what I'm hearing right now and that is a big order, since nothing I have heard in my 40 years of listening, has been better.

What a position to be in.

Can't say about the 30's, but the 40's with the new midwoofer, TRT's and FST's will smoke your 626/godzillion sub combo.....

I'm looking forward to that

But of course you know I already knew that.

B-U-T..... I reiterate.  The 626R is a special speaker, for smaller rooms or rooms where extreme levels are not needed.

Up to certain levels, this system is unbeleivable (in my room and system)

I invite anyone coming to LA, before I sell these things, to call me and stop in for a listen.

Just listening to Jim Merods, Carl Saunders Quartet _Live in San Francisco. and I only hope to get him in here before these go so I can show him what an absolutley amazing job he did with this CD.

The dimension, of image, soundstage and placement is simply "reality". :o

But you do know, I'm a Chuck Josephson in training

626Rs for sale - what are you using for speaker stands?

John,

What are you using for speaker stands? Are your stands for sale?

I built MDF boxes for my 626Rs. My carpentry skills are pretty rudimentary, but even covered with black vinyl to hide the imperfections the stands look pretty bad, and since this is my living room, they gotta go. Looking for inexpensive but good alternative.

Hi Mike,

Actually the LARGER subs are my stands not only work perfectly, they keep the woofer alignment in the same plane.

I do have some 4 post Skylan stands, I used before the subs, but they are filled with sand

I suppose I could empty them and ship. look here to see what they look like.
