Hello from the UK
« on: 19 Jul 2023, 08:08 pm »
Hi everyone
Currently putting together the system 18 yr old me couldn’t afford back in 1990. Part of the which is a pair of B&W Concept 90 speakers which sadly are missing one of the bass drivers from the CM2. Hoping to track down a replacement and hoped someone here may be able to help. Pics below:

Welcome to AC!   Probably good to look at sites like  https://bowerswilkins.encompass.com/     or     https://www.bowerswilkins.com/en-us/category/accessories    or    https://reconingspeakers.com/speaker-repair/bw-repairs/    and I'm sure a host of others.

Hi Phil
Unfortunately I’ve tried most sites and definitely all of the B&W sites, also not having a driver to repair rules out many other sites. Have seen historic posts on AC regarding these speakers so hoping to get lucky here.

I understand.  I've seen listings on eBay as well.  I have B&W speakers in a back-up home theater system.  They mains I use are B&W P6s (and I have a CDM center and Leisure Monitors as side surrounds).  I bought the P6s new (I believe in 1997).  While I don't have a problem, I have looked here or there but more or less resigned myself whenever they go to just get a new pair of speakers (I've gotten 26 years of use so I can't complain).  One can also go to hifishark.com and either look for a single speaker of that model or a pair.
