Hello All,

I came upon this site while enjoying my anguish as I consider replacing the Emotiva XPA that I use to feed Sonus Faber Lumina III  speakers from Cambridge 851N streaming DAC, a Yamaha for theatre and my occasional use of my turntable. A while back I had allowed myself to be convinced when I read a few times that power is power and todays amps are effectively equal. Oh, then reading through AudioScienceReviews suggested I was but a lamb to slaughter, and that measurements matter. And so I'm glad to be here to read and to ask kindly of the opinions and experience of others. I love how generous folks can be of their time and knowledge, and it would seem that there is a pretty healthy community here - kudos to admin!!!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
