Hi,
My name is Mike and I live in the pacific NW near the Canadian border.
I have dabbled in audio since 1980 but when I retired in 2017 I took this hobby to the next level.
I started to teach myself to repair and upgrade receivers, amps, tuners, cassette decks and speakers; my repair success level is around 50 % I think. I own a Hakko desolder gun, Edsyn soldering iron and multiple meters including an Extech LCR meter.
I also started to collect all the stuff I could not afford or have the time to get when I was younger. my collection is over 100 pieces right now.
I am still constantly trying to learn new things and play with new to me stuff.
