Hi, I'm a newbie here. I'm considering a purchase of VMPS ST iii's and can't find much info. Can anyone tell me about these, their performance, what to look out for on these, market price for a good pair, etc.? I'd also consider other speakers that will easily fill my "great room" (architect's name for it) with plenty of sound, have a good sound, and that I can afford (cpl/few g's). The room is 44'x22'x16' high. I have two large 1970's Macintosh amps, a Yamaha amp, Acoustat magneplanars (apx 7-8' tall bipole) with the red upgrade (probably will sell once I get my new speakers), powered 15' subs, and a few other vintage 3 ways (I can't recall the models atm). Yup, I don't know too much about all this I admit. But I have two ears that work well. thanks!
