From a music theory perspective, "The Price is Right" theme is the most sophisticated TV theme song ever written! I love listening to the original 1972 version. Some jazz musicians have recorded it, recognizing the harmonic potential and improvisation difficulty.
It was composed by Edd Kalehoff, but sadly, the show's producer Bob Israel stole the publishing royalties from Kalehoff.
I wish there was a good quality recording of it.
