I just inherited a set of Monitor Audio Silver 5i's from a friend who has passed. 

I looked on the GR Research web site and searched here to see if there was info on upgrades but didn't find anything. 

I'm just checking to see if I missed something before I consider sending them to Danny for evaluation.

Hi, We've only looked at two monitor audio speakers so far. (they ended up being the same Studio 6 speaker, but one was a tower version of the same speaker)
Only one of the Silver 5i's would need to be sent in for us to design an upgrade kit for.

Just be sure that the speakers are well packed/padded with your contact info in the box with the speaker.

I also have this speaker, from new. Would be very interested in Danny's assessment and any upgrade kit. To me it is surprisingly good for the original price (£450 approx in 2000), and the cabinet is very solid with little resonance. May be one with "good bones" as Danny puts it.Will keep looking to see if Danny does a video on it. Thanks, Andrew
