Hello Everyone!
I have an interest in tinkering with all kinds of audio gear, seeing how it works and trying to find out if it could be made to perform better. I especially enjoy open reel recorders and collect prerecorded tapes. Mostly I use vacuum tube electronics and electrostatic speakers. I listen to records, tapes and CD/SACDs and FM radio when possible. I enjoy classical, jazz, rock and opera music and try and keep an open mind on all things audio related. I've been an audio retailer and worked for an audio manufacturer in the past, but retired now.
