Bought two boards 1" thick, beautifully beveled, even got an extra 1/2" board.

Thanks everyone who looked for me and posted on this thread. Now I've got to get to work. Can't believe it's Feb 2024 and I first posted nearly 1 year ago.

I have a HW-19 mk iv and needed a superboard for my tonearm with the higher platter.  If you can or know someone who can cut and drill a board I used African Bubinga very dense.  seems to have worked out well

i couldn't find any thick acrylic at a decent price

I need a(n)

1. SDS speed controller
2. Set of HW-19 suspension pucks (I have two sets of springs)
3. SuperBoard for tonearm

Thanks!

Paul

are the suspension pucks the springs that go between the black plinth and the wood chassis?  if so, I may have a set of 4.

The pucks are sorbothane discs that take the place of the springs.

I used these along with the bottom aluminum disc from the spring holder and then put sorbothane hemisphere's on top.

I use Herbies tenderfeet in place of the springs.

I have been using the MH Cruise Control with my HW-19 mk iv.  I always give the platter a startup spin but it keeps a solid steady and even speed.

I ordered a Cruise Control, thanks for the suggestion. Actually, I am about to paint nail polish on the spindle of a Marantz 6100 that I am rescuing, so even though it might be worth more than the table, the MH CC will get me up to speed. (Boo! Bad Pun)

Found someone to make the boards for me, they are beautiful.
