Been on here since 2009 and suddenly I must introduce myself to get my legacy privileges back!  I'm a tube audiophile who believes in digital front ends.  Best systems is PS Audio DSD > Thor TA-1000 MkII > Quicksilver 60 mono's > Merlin VSM speakers + self-calibrating JL Audio Fathom sub.  Other system is PS Audio DSD Jr. > Van Alstine FET Valve CFR (on its way) > Music Reference RM-10 MkII > Merlin TSM speakers + Onyx Rocket UFW-10 sub.

Immediate issues are finding the best NOS tubes for my new Van Alstine preamp and maybe fixing my DIY subminiature tube preamp which has developed a buzz (but I might just retire it if the AVA is much better)
