  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

I first saw and heard Christone "Kingfish" Ingram in one of the scenes from Luke Cage.  His playing was so good that I looked into him and saw him the first chance that I got.  It was at the Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI on the day before our state was locked down for COVID.

Miami Vice without question.  I never knew who Phil Collins was until that show.  Oh to be in a 40' Scarab pounding through the waves chasing bad guys.  It still gets me going just thinking about it.

Another one where I had to pick up an album or two was watching The Big Lebowski. One of the better curated soundtracks around for classic rock. Surprisingly such a stark contrast to some of their later work like No Country For Old Men which has 0 music at all through the whole film.

The theme song for Unforgetten, All We Do, prompted me to buy the album OW by Oh Wonder.  Unlike other theme tunes that made me buy a CD this one is good all the way through :D

There are many versions of the Hawaii Five-0 theme song. But this is the original version from the TV show, IMO the best.

What an interesting thread - certainly worthy of resurrection. Movies provide an awesome avenue to discover "new to me" music/bands that I would never have considered before.
A band that comes quickly to mind is "Kaleida" and the tune "Think" from John Wick  8)

Be well...
