JVC F10 has phono input?!?

Hi folks, in response to an email spam I went to Amazon and looked at the JVC F10's ($229 shipped) technical specs and noted that it claims to have a phono input.

Can that be correct? Does the F10 have a 'phono' input? If so, sorry Panasonic, count me another enthusiast for the JVC!

Sorry, no phono input. At least not on my unit's vintage...

If you want a lower cost receiver w/phono check out some of the Yamaha's. A good amount of their lower cost models have phono in's. Much more than most other receiver manufacturers.

Bubba966, does Yamaha make a low-cost digital receiver? I'm not interested in a conventional amplifier design receiver.

I'm not sure.

I was only looking for receivers with phono for a friend and it didn't matter if they were SS or not. But it seems that just about every Japanese electronics company is making a digital receiver of some sort, so I wouldn't be surprised it Yamaha made one as well. You should stop by their site and see if anything they make fits your requirements.
