This pair was built from scratch except for the baffles which came with the kit

Hello All,

I am going to sell these speakers because am in the process of buying some LS-6.  I will create a for sale ad tomorrow.

I will sell them for 2750.00 net to me.  I really don't want to ship but I am pretty good at boxing up audio if I have to.  One place my OCD can shine!

I am in Fayetteville AR and will drive up to 2 hours away for delivery at no extra cost.

They speakers have been fantastic and I have zero complaints.

Here is the ad:   https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=186957.msg1959953#msg1959953

Hi Brandon, here is the information I got from Mike.

Sonicaps in both tweeters and woofers
Mi-Flex by-pass caps in the tweeter circuit
Foil Inductors in both tweeter and woofer circuits
Dayton Audio Restistors

Yes. These crossovers have Sonicaps in both tweeter and woofer circuits, a Miflex by-pass cap in the tweeter circuit, foil inductors in both woofer and tweeter circuits, and Dayton Audio resistors.

and Dayton Audio resistors.

We're happy with this brand? It's on par with like a Mills Resistor but a budget friendly version? ie - these are not sand cast resistors?

Yeah, in terms of sound quality they've about on par with the Mills and a lot easier to order in large quantities without long wait times.

I have decided that while I do have room and wife approval, two 150lbs speakers isn't the direction I should be going when I had the NX-Studio built to replace large speakers.  So i am nipping my audio addiction before it's too late.

These are fantastic speakers and they fit my lifestyle.  I am keeping them.  Now just to stay off the audio sites online...

If you ever want to goose the performance of the system you can build out a pair of GR Research OB subs to act as stands for the Studios.  Big jump and no need to sell anything.

Those line arrays surely kick **s, but having a portable easy to move speaker system is nice.

In this case tweeter may be higher than ear level.

Not a big deal, just tilt the NX Studio speaker a bit by raising the rear of it.

Another option:
Put riser blocks underneath your loveseat or couch.

Another option is to not be overly concerned about tweeters being at ear level. It's merely a guideline, not a hard rule.
