I'm a middle aged male and have loved hifi since I can recall. I've gone through many different system makers including Marantz, Arcam, Naim, Kef, Wharfedale, Q Acoustics, Trichord, Mordaunt-Short, B&O, Rogers, Monitor Audio, Mission, Cyrus, Pioneer, Audio Technica, Sony, Technics, Linn, Quad, Sansui. So quite a range of qualities, and different approaches, two way speakers, three way, bi-amping, tri-amping, Pre and power combos, just a couple of DAC's. To my ears 3 way speakers have to be tri-amped or at least bi-amped to have sufficient stereo imaging and good sound stage separation. However, I always have an open mind, hence I often find myself comparing and contrasting the different Hi-Fi set-up strengths and weaknesses.
Look forward to joining the chat and dare I say it debate LOL
Kind regards Mark UK
