Hello from Oregon
« on: 11 Feb 2023, 03:41 am »
Hello Everybody,

I'm a retired Electronics Technician who got interested in audio back in the '70s.  I like horn speakers and tubes.  But, I'm open minded.  I'm currently building open baffle speakers and a pair of First Watt Aleph J amp clones.  I'm looking forward to being on this site.  I can already tell there's a wealth of great info here.

Hello, Jerry1.

Welcome to AC. There are quite a few of us Oregonians represented here. Where are you located? I'm in Beaver Country when I'm not traveling or wintering elsewhere.

Hello Michael,

Beaver Country?  You must mean Corvallis.  I'm in Portland area, when we're home.  Now that we're both retired and the pandemic is less of a concern, we've been traveling quite a bit.  I'm glad to be home.  Thanks the welcome.

Corvallis it is! 😆 Good sleuthing. Prior to 2020, I used to get to Portland fairly often, but I-5 traffic and a little virus have curtailed our outings.

Michael,
I looked at your gallery and noticed some interesting gear.  What in your system, now?
