Covert 5UG > 274B

Is an adapter required to use a 274B in place a 5UG / 5AR4?

If so, anyone have a lead on where to buy?  Or, I may need a socket saver just to raise the tube?

I have the Musical Paradise pre amp.

Please let me know and thanks in advance!

No adapter needed but yes if you want to put the cover back on your MP-701 MkII preamp then yes you will need a socket saver to get clearance.
