PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The basic material for the Oyaide C-004 is Beryllium Copper, which provides maximum conductivity, strength, and a secure contact.
The surface of the C-004 is thoroughly polished TWICE. Then, a layer of platinum (.5 micron) is plated directly onto this polished surface, and the polishing process is again applied twice. Next, the Oyaide C-004 receives the final Palladium plating (0.3 micron), and is again polished twice. The combination of these polishing processes, platings, and thicknesses of platings ultimately leads to the final sound character. For the body of the Oyaide C-004, Oyaide has chosen high density PBT, mixed with 30% glass filler. This combination was used to maximize rigidity, thermal stability and provide high resonance absorption. The outer shell is Polycarbonate.
In our experience, and based on the feedback of our customers, the Oyaide C-004 male AC connector has a tonal character that is very natural sounding, resolving, and very balanced throughtout the frequency spectrum. Highs are sweet and extended, mids are layered beautifully, and bass is rock solid, without being lean or suffering from any bloat or note overhang. A great match for the best cabling and most resolving, neutral systems.

The condition of these Acrolink power cables themselves is about 6.5 to 7 out of 10...The printing on one cable is smeared where it is "viewable" and on the other cord it is barely visible if at all (which is how I received them but could be contributed to a needing cleaning when I first acquired them)...also a few covering scuffs/nicks here and there which obviously does not affect the top end performance of these desirable power cords. They were to being sold as a pair but if sold separately, the one with the barely visible printing on the ACROLINK PC is going first, period. As the second owner, this was not an issue for me as they are not able to be seen behind my rack. I am asking $200.00 per pair of the OYAIDE connectors which includes one bonus FREE Acrolink PC delivered in the CONUS but am acknowleding realistic offers...
