I'm curious as to what kind of speaker wire and interconnects that other VMPS owners are using and having good results with. I have all JPS Labs Ultraconductor which is their "budget" cable and like them a lot, but you know how it is, always wondering if maybe there is something that might take the already high performance of these speakers up another notch.

I'm using Gregg Straley's cables in my modest setup.
I'm happy with the price/performance

Currently I use Ridge Street Audio Poiema!!

I recently heard the Greg Straley cables and was suitably impressed.

I love my Bolder cables used throughout the system:
Ice digital cable
Nitro interconnect
Summit interconnect
Nitro speaker wires to the speakers and used also inside the speaker (626R BCSE)

I bought my interconnects custom made from a DIY guy that posts on HomeTheaterForum.  His name is Vince Maskeeper and he can be reached at maskeeper@musicianassist.com.  The cables are really nice and very reasonably priced.  I also have the entire gamut of commercial cables from monster, radio shack and tributary to Onix and Xindac.  These are all about what you would expect for the money, overpriced in comparison to the Maskeeper cables.

I heard them at Ehiders last weekend.  I brought my Poiema's up so Eric could listen to them.  So we had a nice A/B between the two.

Greg lives in Chicago, but I don't have contact info for him.

I've checked out the Signalcable website and am very tempted to give them a try. Love the idea of a modestly priced product that can stand with the megabuck offerings- just like VMPS. I've also used Bolder Cables digital ic's and power cords with good success-another company offering great bang for the buck products.

tweaker,

I use Nakamichi interconnects (circa 1987) between all components upstream from the stereo preamp; Better Cables Silver Serpent XLR interconnects (circa 2002) between preamp and monoblocks; and Better Cables Silver Serpent speaker cables (also circa 2002).

for speaker cables I'm using MAS Hybrid Reference Biwire, 1 pair of XLR interconnect are also MAS Reference and 1 VH Audio Pulsar Nextgen Gold for my digital cable.  Best combo I have used in my system and I have tried too many to mention... ;)
