Introduction - Hello from Tulsa, Oklahoma

I'm new to this DIY speaker kit thing and all that it entails.  While doing research I came across Danny's website and youtube videos.  Now I'm in search of a kit that will work well within my new house.

The room where I will have my HT is approximately 20' X 24' with 20' high ceilings (I know, the height doesn't help things).  I've been viewing, researching and reading reviews on the xl encore and x-statik kits.  Would these even be a good candidate for a room like this?

Anyway, I have already learned so much just from reading posts from people like you.  I[m looking forward to your responses and being able to contribute myself in the future.

The X-Static kit will work well and is a great value.    You may wish to add a sub eventually.

That would make a good song title.  I'm about an hour and a half from Tulsa but that just doesn't sound as good. :)

Quite some distance.  The farthest I've been away from OK is New Zealand.  Where are you located?

Good to know. 
Questions on building the XO.  Does the kit come with diagrams/instructions on how to build? 

As far as the boxes, I am an experience wood worker and should have no issues. 

Do you have a build thread on the x-statiks?
