Low prize high end
« on: 3 Oct 2022, 03:43 pm »
Hi fellow music lovers, please let me introduce myself: Jan, former CEO of Audiovorm (some 30-35 years ago)
Audiovorm has been distributor in the Netherlands for brandstof like Wadia, Pass labs, Genesis, Tice Audio, Acoustic Energy, Pink Triangle, Straight Wire, Horning, Audion, Sumo, CAT, Sonus Faber and some more...
I’m now living retired at the age of 69 in the peaceful sunny south of France / Europe, but still have enough energy to start a new project: a beautiful stand-mounted 2 (2.5) way speaker resembling the Sonus Faber Electa Amator (I live in an aerea loaded with walnuttreas) with sensitivity around 95dB and a very easy impedence - so a decent 300b se tube amp should be able to do the job. Love to hear from you!

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome to AC :thumb:
I had a friend who was a SonusFaber fan, nice speakers except it was 4 ohms, needs a 100W amp.

Very cool!  I actually have a pair of Genesis IM8300s that need to have their surrounds replaced; great speakers.  I also have the matching servo subwoofer which I have repurposed as a new subwoofer after the servo amp died.

And two Sumo Polaris amps in my bedroom!
