Selling my deHavilland Ultraverve III with remote ($1,650). This is one the great tube preamps with many positive reviews. It's rich sounding, provides great detail retrieval and the soundstage is deep and wide.

The preamp is in great condition except for the nick on the top left back corner (see picture). You can't see it unless you look at the preamp from behind and it does not impact the sound quality in anyway. My lower asking price takes into account this imperfection.

It will ship with the Sylvania tubes recommended by Kara Chafee, the designer of deHavilland, along with a Tungsol NOS rectifier. All tubes are strong.

I'm not the original owner and I'm not sure how many previous owners, I didn't ask this when purchased earlier this year.  Per Kara the production year is around 2005.  Apart from the small dent, the unit is in perfect condition and I've never had any issues with it.

i think the later models have two gain controls where the two bumps are on the rear top of this model.

The two "bumps" on the rear of the preamp are the areas where the optional output level balance controls could go.
