This is a Cary SLP-70 preamp chassis, WITHOUT the Cary SLP-70 preamp electronics inside. Empty carcass!

All steel chassis. Looks like a nice volume pot, source switch and jacks. Cary used nice parts back in their heyday.
Might make a good home for a DIY preamp project.
