This single driver omnidirectional speaker was were taken on trade by Selah Audio years ago. It has a single SB Acoustic driver (~5"-6") firing upward into reflection apparatus for dispersion of high frequencies. No tweeter, no crossover, no EQ.
There were originally two speakers. Rick tried unsuccessfully to recover the SB driver out of the other one, then gave them to me to fiddle with. I couldn't get the driver out either, so chucked the other well-torn apart speaker.
The design and workmanship is amazing. I don't remember what they are called or who made them, but I remember seeing them online back then.
