Glad to join the Circle

I am a long time Audiophile in MI, where we suffer from limited access to gear.

Look forward to sharing my music/gear interests, and learning what Members are listening to.

Hey, if you have "limited access" or limited funds, then you have to get creative. You don't need big name gear and/or big bucks to get great sound. DIY is a good route if you have a workshop and some basic electronics tools. Time, curiosity and diligence will pay you back with big smiles and enjoyment. Welcome to the fold!

Also from Michigan.  SE Michigan is OK for bricks and mortar audio (except tubes, vinyl, and non-traditional loudspeakers) and clubs.  I did some DIY in 1980 (Hafler pre-amp and power amp kits, Fried transmission line bass boxes) while I had access to tools and helpers.  Chicago isn't terribly far away unless you're from up north.

"limited access" could be lack of dealers to listen before purchase.
However internet prices are always lower than retail.
