New guy on the website...

Apparently we need to introduce ourselves and make non garbage posts...
So, I was introduced to this website by Danny Richie who referred me here... I've built the X-Statik, and the H servo subwoofer... extremely extremely happy with them... I've owned multiple speakers, and have never been happy with them, mostly because I would get ear fatigue (or whatever the official name might be). Anyway, I have several questions which I cannot search for answers on due to the rules here...

so, here they are...

I have a 20 year old Onkyo receiver, which I like much more that I did before I built these speakers, but I'd like a little more horsepower, and that's what started this: I asked Danny for his advice on amplifiers, and he sent me here...

Next question is what preamp, but that's pretty generic question that isn't very related to the GRR speakers.

The next is what methodology do people use for balancing the sub with the speakers, and what do people use to set the servo amp to the settings that make the most sense... I've watched Danny's video on that (and should probably watch again) but wondered if someone could refer me...

Now that I've listed my questions, it's doubtful anyone will see them with specific knowledge...

Welcome to AC Kevin. You can post in GR Circle now. Your search privilege will activate after 3 moderated posts.

GR speakers are worthy of high end electronics, so what is your budget?

Greetings & Welcome to AC Kevin   :thumb: Can't speak to GR specifics, but there are several well regarded manufacturers with circles here you can browse even before you get searching ability. Have at it, and I'm sure you'll get some input if you start a thread in the GR circle as adminRH has noted.
