SOLD::Original owner, dac and power supply have been in rack it’s whole life in a second system. This dac has the AKM chip which I believe is a more sought after than the current RME.  15 year member Audiogon username paulcreed 100% feedback so you can buy with confidence. PayPal has started to tax as income so family and friends, USPS money order and personal check, thanks for looking. Here is serial number in case someone wants to verify 5848037 B. The B in serial number stands for the AKM chip. RME’s with the newer chip after fire have a C in the serial number, I believe it is the ESS chip not AKM. I purchased this dac from Sweetwater in  8/2020. I forgot to mention I have 2 remotes the original remote lost some print on the button and so RME sent a new one so 2 remotes come with the dac.

The top photo shows a couple of tubes...do either of the units use tubes?

No, sorry for confusion, someone asked for pictures of remote and it happened to be laying by an amp. So I propped it up by the tubes which are 6922’s for a preamp. The dac and power supply do not use tubes.

Actually, after asking my question I realized the picture is of the remote. It's what happens when I haven't had coffee first thing in the morning. Nice setup you're selling by the way...if I hadn't overspent on a remodel and other gear already this month, well you know the rest.... Skip
