For sale is the makings of a world-class open baffle speaker system, less the front panel for the baffles and subs.

Included in this sale are:
1. Fertin 20EX drivers, which are one of the finest 8-inch drivers ever made. Designed by Michael Fertin (now of EMS Speakers) and hand made in France. These will easily compete with the likes of Cube, Voxativ, etc. The cones of the drivers were upgraded to the “flower” whizzer as evident in the photos in 2013. The drivers are rated at 99dB and 16 ohms which makes them a great match for low power SET amps.
2. Custom made high pass filters (200Hz). I had these design and made for me by the current Fertin rep in Germany. They are made from using super-nice components, including Janzen audio caps, etc. See the PDF for details.
3. Duelund speaker tinned/copper speaker cable and jumpers. The high pass filters include (a) jumper cables for connecting to the Fertin drivers and (b) 12 feet of speaker cables. Both are soldered to the HP filter board. The Duelund wire is really nice sounding but could be replaced and new wire re-soldered if desired.
4. The frames for the baffles were purchased from Pure Audio Project. The filters are design to rest on the lower platform of the frames.
I had a local furniture maker make the baffles (shown in the one of the photos) from solid ash wood. Regrettably, I used the ash wood for another project, so it is no longer available and not included in this sale. But if you are handy with wood, or have a furniture maker close by, you can select the species you like and have the baffles readily made.
5. The power supply, which was recommended by Fertin when the drivers were purchased.
I am the original owner of everything listed in this post. The drivers were originally purchased in 2007. The cones were updated in 2013.
I ran the Fertin drivers in the open baffle configuration using a 300B SET and a pair of subs driven by a crown amp with DSP. The sound was simply amazing. Immediate, delicate, emotional. I have favorable compared these too several commercial speakers costing multiple $10,000. However, after many years of using my Fertin field coil drivers, I have decided it is time for a change.
Shipping will be involved and will include FOUR (4x) packages. The drivers will be shipped in their original wood crate. The other items will be separately boxed and packed for shipment.
Local pick up in AZ would be ideal, but I am willing to ship.
