Introduction - Eric S

Hello all  :wave:,

My name is Eric. I live in North Carolina. I'm a musician, and I enjoy listening to many different kinds music. Lately I've been listening to a lot of funk. I'm currently building my listening room setup around a pair of JBL Studio 530s that I've had for a few months. I found out about the forum by watching Danny on the GR-research YouTube channel. And I'm looking forward to getting to know the community here.

Lots of AC members from NC.

Recommend avoiding small/squarish/uninsulated listening room and insulate everything you can think of.  (I insulated ductwork and door to good effect.)

Audioholic has a YouTube channel with lots of advice on rooms.  I've been watching their ones on HT builds.  Makes me want to win the lottery :-) so I can build one.
