Killian came up with a great idea for some really well thought out and easy to build absorbing panels.

I shot a quick video on them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BszF9YnBmo4

Killian has now shot a video showing the assembly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgg3WlUP5Ik&t=3s

He did a great job. You guys check it out.

Well done, and the kit makes even more sense after watching the assembly process!

People really really really should be ordering these - simply brilliant solution!  Killian's solution is better than most of the "Professional" offerings from other companies.  Well done.

I would love to see Killian come up with DIY diffusor kits.

Second video in a series of three! This one covering a way of doing a backing fabric I've found useful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-MTKdLb_ig

Third video will show some upholstery tips and tricks. I'm by no means an upholstery expert but think I have some insights on this specific application having done a quite a few of them at this point.

Was also kind of thinking about doing a cost/benefit analysis video on doing these DIY panels. Work up a spreadsheet that will be publicly available so you can plug and play to estimate the cost of your project versus the cost of some commercially available panels.

I could also pontificate some about the intrinsic values of DIY projects. From knowing your item inside and out, to the story and skills you gain from doing it yourself etc etc...there is a incalculable value inherent in DIY. If I can figure out how to say something about that succinctly...look out for that video?

Thanks for the interest and feedback on these so far. Have some ideas on DIY 2D and 3D diffusors I'd like to over next as well.

I think a cost / benefit analysis would be super useful.  I know when I did my panels, it was less than half the cost and better built than the commercial offerings.
