I used the 2Cherry with the Salk Veracity ST’s and the Spatial Audio M3 Sapphires….beautiful tone, huge spaciousness and a high degree of realism and detail with both speakers.

I have had a pair of the Cherry Desktop amps in listening room No. 2 for several months now and I have been very impressed. They are the best sounding amps we have tested under $3000. I would not have guessed they were Class D. I think it is high time we drop the emphasis on the class of amp circuit, as the lines are becoming blurred by many different and good sounding approaches. Tommy definitely has something special with his design as others have noted. They certainly mate with my speaker designs exceptionally well.

I am the original owner; the amp has been in a smoke free environment and has less than 750 hours (because it rotated in and out of service with another amp). I’d rate it 9 of 10 because it isn’t brand new, it works perfectly. The amp will be double boxed for shipment (see photos) and includes the original box, power cord, speaker binding post sleeves and Neutrik XLR to RCA adapters.

Bump....my 2Cherry amp sale has been placed on hold.....

Change Of Plans!  Something unexpected came up that requires me to leave town for a couple weeks which means I will not be in a position to complete a transaction (as in ship) so the only fair thing to do is to put this ad on hold.

For those that expressed interest, I may be able to return messages, but I can’t be sure it will be on a timely basis.

For those that are curious, remember this.  Before there were Purifi or GaN Class d amps, Tommy Obrien was making fast switching, ultra low distortion amplifiers that sounded great probably because he had mastered the 2nd and 3rd harmonic conundrum.  This 2Cherry will sell for a lot less than those amps new.  I’ve heard a few of them and the 2Cherry will easily hold its own.

Bump….2Cherry Priced to Sell. I’m back from an unplanned 3 week trip and resurrecting this ad with $200 price reduction…. Now $1600 OBO

This is a great price on a shockingly good amp…meaning you won’t have much depreciation to absorb, if any, when you decide to resell.
