WTB: Pair of E80CC Tubes >>>Found...
« on: 20 May 2022, 03:16 pm »
I am looking for a pair of NOS or test as new E80CC tubes. These are near equivalents to a 12AU7.

Preferred brands would be Tungsram, Philips SQ, or Siemens labeled Tungsram.

Thanks.

The Tungsrams are excellent.  I have 4 pairs and they are not for sale.  I previously sold 2 additional pairs and now regret it.

I also have a pair of Valvos with pinched waists and D-getters that I will sell, but only for a small fortune.

Tubemonger.com has some if you want to deal with a domestic dealer.  Otherwise, I see a few Euro sellers on eBay that look solid.

Buy extras.  They aren't making them anymore.  Says the OCD hoarder in me.

Best of luck.

Here is a pair from Ebay.  He is legit, I have purchased from him before and this is a very reasonable price for a Philips option.  Good luck -

Thanks. I understand the hoarder instinct! Most of the euro sellers are in the Ukraine and although I deeply want to support them I am concerned about shipping these days...

Glad to hear that this is a good seller. I have seen this seller previously but was skeptical since it was India. I have traveled there several times.

I have purchased from tubemonger in the past with no problems.  Good luck.

Thanks to those who replied.

I did find a pair on US Audiomart. There were lots of nice NOS pairs available from the EU but shipping has gotten so expensive that I decided to try a pair I found in the US for now.

Best,
Paul
