My 2011 Vision Hybrid DAC needs a new home! Excellent for streaming and playing audio files up to 192 kHZ-24bit, which I have been doing for 11 years. Two SPDIF optical inputs and two SPDIF coaxial inputs, 1 set RCA outputs. USB input can be accommodated by obtaining a Dongle (for example a Douk Audio USB XMOS XU208 Digital Interface TOSLINK Coaxial DOP SPDIF Adapter DSD64 PCM 192 kHz-24 bit). Frank evaluated it with his oscilloscope, and says at very low frequencies, there is slight noise on the right channel. For sale: $600.00 USD, buyer pays shipping. The Vision Hybrid DAC used a version of our Ultra II tube hybrid circuits, with a 6N1P (later a 6CG7) triode followed by a power mos-fet inside the overall feedback loop.  This was an excellent and musical unit.

This was replaced by the current production Fet Valve Hybrid DAC which uses a 6CG7 Broskie totem-pole tube section followed by a mos-fet follower, with no overall loop feedback.  We find the Fet Valve design to be slightly superior overall for the DAC requirements and have used this for the past few years.

I would not spend the money to replace one with the other, the differences are minor.

The DAC has the original 6CG7 tubes, never had a reason to try anything else. I don't check this thread very often, and don't seem to get notifications of other posts to it, sorry for the response time lag.
