Introduction from Hawaii and main stereo System
« on: 12 Apr 2022, 06:18 am »
Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum, thank you for having me here..
Just getting back into audio, I have been absent for at least 30 years now.
I now have a few systems that I play with.
My reference system consists of:
Original Shindo labs 300b cortese
Original Shindo labs dual mono allegro preamp
Shindo lab’s Lafite field coil speakers
Shindo MR T

2nd system : Almarro mk1 SE el84 amplifier, Eico HF81
Now playing with some bottle head paraglow amplifiers with magnequest transformers

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome GKLEE!  you have some pretty unusual (and outstanding) stuff from Shindo. Did you bring it to Hawai'i yourself? I lived in Honolulu for 6 years a while back and never came across another audiophile with anything better than mid-fi in that whole time. You have broken the stereotype that I had reluctantly created in my mind. I do miss all the live music that I enjoyed there and was really bummed when the Hono Symphony orchestra closed.
