This is all my opinion.
The only 2 guys out of the OP list that have any interest for me, are Ritchie Blackmore and Alex Lifeson.
The rest are pretty uninteresting for me. I no longer like any blues based music, and the list is made up of primarily blues based players. And I used to be fans of most of them.
My list of guitar heroes would look something like this, in no particular order:
Allan Holdsworth* - Gong, Bruford, Soft Machine, solo. Jazz-fusion.
John McLaughlin - Mahavishnu Orchestra. Jazz-fusion.
Steve Hackett - Genesis, solo. Prog
Robert Fripp - King Crimson. Prog, ambeint
Franco Mussida - Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM). Prog
Alex Machacek. Jazz-Fusion
Steve Morse - Dixie Dregs, Deep Purple. Jazz-fusion, bluegrass
Daniel Gildenlow - Pain of Salvation. Prog-metal
Scott McGill - Handfarm, Mcgill/Manring/Stevens. Heavy jazz-fusion
Ralph Towner - Oregon, solo. Chamber-Jazz
Pat Martino - jazz/fusion, one of the best.
Paco De Lucia - could be the best Flamenco guitarist ever.
Sharon Isban - classical
*he is the guitar heroes' guitar hero.
