Hello From Langley BC

Hey everyone,  google search has been bringing me here off and on so I thought it was time to join.  I have been bit by the tube bug.  I certainly hope it ends well.

Hey thanks!

I am really looking forward to to hearing a bunch of tubes and reading about other members opinions.  I actually just bought a set that one of the members here wrote about.  Really hoping it is a win.

Mark,

Of course I need tubes, I am suddenly a tube hoarder and I only have one amplifier to put them in so far.  I picked up a Cronus Magnum 3 to play around with.  I put RCA Clear Tops from an old CONN organ in the Pre position and the driver positions and I am ordering others to try because it was so much better than the stock JJ's.

So on the way I have:
NOS Radiotechnique 12AU7WA for the pre spot.
NOS Brimar 12AU7WA for the Pre spot.
NOS Mullard 12AU7 Short plates for the Driver spots.
NOS GE 12AX7 Long Plates for the Phase.
Golden Lion KT66's for the Power Tubes.

I am looking for a tube tester and everything tube because I have gone absolutely insane.  So let me know what you are interested in moving.  I have a preamp on the way that I will get in the late summer (not sure of tube compliment) and I am thinking about tube monos (maybe 300b) so...........I am open to suggestions.

And thank you to everyone for the warm welcome.

I am more of a reader than big knowledge contributor.  But hey you never know.
