SOLD This upgrade kit is designed specifically for the latest generation Bluesound Node streamer (sometimes referred to as model N130). It won’t work with the older Node 2i or earlier generations. The upgrade board is from PD Creative and the heavy duty linear power supply is from Swagman. Combined new price for the board and power supply was $280. The PD Creative circuit board is easy to install. You can follow the instructions on the PD Creative website (paper instructions are also included with the board). Once installed, just attach the linear power supply and you’re all set. The improvement in sound quality and clarity is very noticeable and largely attributed to using a linear power supply instead of Bluesound’s noisy switching power supply circuit. There are numerous customer reviews on the PD Creative website, so you don’t have to take my word for it.
