I agree.  Those old Sheffield Labs LP's are about as good as it gets.

Greetings & Welcome to AC Julian   :thumb:  You won't go too far wrong with any ECM release. They've been getting it right for a lot of years now.
The whole ECM catalog is close to the top. But none of my ECM pressings match the dynamics and in the room tonality that Sheffield manages. 
Thelma Houston "I've Got the Music in Me" is a great example.
