Hi I'm John from Las Vegas NV and found this thread from gr-research.com.

I bought a pair of Klipsch RP-8000f and loved the sound compared to my Vandersteen 3A Signatures. Then when listening to lighthouse on the Jazz at the pawnshop CD I noticed the cymbals sounded subdued like the volume was turned down in that frequency range.

I then did a search on Google seeing if anybody else had that feeling. Then the upgrade video for these speakers showed up. The graph in the video was exactly what I was hearing.

The dip in the cymbals range. So I purchased the upgrade three days ago and can't wait for it to arrive.
