New, not new member

Greetings fellow audiophiles and music lovers!

I created my profile here two years ago and then got waylaid by pandemic and working more hours from home than I ever did going to my office!

I bought my system(s) from Hi-Fi Fo-Fum back in the '70s. In the '80s, I upgraded my Dual turntable to a Denon, which still works like new. One of my New Larger Advent speakers is sounding a bit tired, though. It may need a new tweeter or crossover... I'm still researching.

Be well,

Tom

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.

Welcome!

Your entire system (including the records) is bound to be wearing out.  Time to jump into the 20's with active monitors (like Kaliaudio) and a streamer/DAC (such as NAD Bluesound Node 2i) for around $1000.
