I fell in love with bookshelf acoustic suspension speakers in 1974. Growing up in California we had a chain of stereo stores called Pacific Stereo. One day they had a pair of EPI M100 speakers and I fell in love. There was something about the point source soundstage and the tightness of the bass that caught my attention. Then in college in Sacramento there was a store called Kieth Yates Audio who demoed a pair of KEFs 103.2s using Dire Straits Private Investigations track and I bought a pair on the spot. Since then, I have accumulated 10 pairs from eBay. I use them for parts in my 7.4.2 Atmos home theatre.
