Hi: I am on a Pink Floyd kick lately and would like to know what is the best sounding digital version of Pink Floyd's "Animals" CD...I have the 5th issue(VCK-33474),but I thought I read somewhere that there are better sounding versions available,which I would like.
What do you recommend (with catalogue numbers).Thanks!

I would look for 1980s Harvest CDs. Before brickwalling became a thing.

I have the first U.S. pressing(CK34474) on it's way,so I hope it sounds better than the one version I have.
It is supposed to have the same mastering as the first Japanese issue(32DP 360).Thanks,Huck
