For sale is a heavily modded ZenWave Audio 1120-RT SurgeX with three Furutech GTX(R) outlets and 20-amp IEC. Every electrolytic capacitor has been replaced and upgraded in this unit. The internal wire and connectors have been replaced and the receptacles have been upgraded as mentioned. The front panel has been replaced, as well.
SurgeX is the cream of the crop for industrial power conditioning and surge elimination. The SurgeX’s advanced EMI/RFI filter provides a lower noise floor and a more relaxed presentation, removing harshness and distortion from contamination of the AC power. The SurgeX does NOT use MOVs and does NOT dump surge energy to ground.
I'd give it a 7/10 grade due to minor scratches on the top of the unit. There are no feet, so feel free to experiment with various footers.
Price is firm at $595 plus shipping. (No power cord is included, but I have a couple of low-cost options if you need a 20-amper).
