I have a wonderful pair of speakers to sell. I'm letting go of my Piraeus Audio Athena's which I bought direct from the manufacturer. The Athenas are a full range speaker, that are active using Hypex internals, made with a beautiful mappa burl finished to a furniture-grade quality with ScanSpeak speakers.
They're phenomenal, especially for the price. To get them up and running, hook up any digital source and the two speakers will play your music effortlessly. I used them for something around 40 hours, but ended up deciding to invest in a new turntable, and since I'd like to keep the signal analog all the way to the driver, these active speakers won't work for my setup. These are the only Mappa Burl pair available on the market.
